MISSIONS

Twin Astra Crewed Research Missions
Studying genetically identical sets of humans in space allows us to isolate genetic vs. environmental influences, leading to deeper insights into human adaptation, disease mechanisms, and aging processes. These insights translate directly into Earth-based personalized medicine, improving predictive diagnostics and tailored treatments.
The foundational phase of the Twin Astra program, Twin Explorer focuses on Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) missions. These missions establish critical biological baselines for astronauts, studying how the human body begins to adapt to microgravity and radiation exposure. Twin Explorer also serves as a training ground, acclimating crews to space environments and testing early-stage ORBIT technologies in controlled conditions to refine their functionality.

Building on the successes of Twin Explorer, Twin Lunar advances the program by conducting circum-Lunar missions. These missions allow for the study of increased radiation exposure and the unique dynamics of reduced gravity in the Moon’s vicinity. Twin Lunar also integrates ORBIT’s diagnostic tools and medical systems in more challenging environments, gathering data that directly informs the development of countermeasures for long-duration missions.

The culminating phase of Twin Astra, Trinity Astra, is a groundbreaking 18-month interplanetary mission to Mars and Venus. This phase pushes the boundaries of space medicine, exploring how prolonged exposure to deep-space conditions impacts human biology. Trinity Astra validates ORBIT’s most advanced technologies, including AI-driven diagnostics and portable healthcare systems, ensuring their readiness for deployment in extreme and remote environments on Earth.

Create, test, and validate healthcare innovation technologies during Twin Astra missions, ensuring their readiness for deployment in both space and terrestrial healthcare scenarios. Examples of ORBIT’s novel technological approach include the development of AI-Driven Diagnostics, Dynamic Drug Platforms, and Portable Healthcare Systems.

Mission Candidates
Twin Astra is preparing to launch a historic search for genetically identical astronaut candidates—identical twins and triplets—who will play a pivotal role in advancing space medicine and human resilience in deep space.
As we finalize mission parameters, we will soon release detailed qualifications, selection criteria, and application timelines. Candidates will undergo a rigorous evaluation process, ensuring they are prepared for the physical, psychological, and scientific demands of spaceflight.
